It’s always gratifying to dream up a new use for an antique object. There are just a few antique items in this collection, but this antique spoon is one of them. Originally, these sorts of spoons with large bowls were used as fruit spoons, back in the day when fruit was served as a dessert. But I think they’re ideal for serving fruit cobbler…big enough to scoop topping, fruit, and juice in one generous spoonful.
